Q. What is Boudoir Photography?
A. Boudoir or Intimate Photography is popular to give as a gift to your groom, husband or boyfriend for a special occasion. The photos are usually taken wearing lingerie, a mans dress shirt, draped fabric or bed sheets or whatever makes you feel sexy and confident. Whether these photos are for his eyes only or something more modest for him to display on his desk, it is completely up to you. You may not feel like a model when you arrive, but you will when you leave!
Q. Will my photographs appear on the internet or anywhere else without my permission?
A. The clients you see displayed on our website have given Allure Photography permission to display their photographs. Your photographs are completely confidential and for your own use. We pride ourselves on our confidentiality and have a female only staffed private studio. Any online galleries will have a secured password protection for your eyes only.
Q. Who will be at the shoot, can I bring a friend?
A. We are a female only staffed studio, and the only people that will be present will be the photographer, make up artist and hair stylist (for the Ooh la la and Whole Shebang packages). We recommend that you come alone for the best experience, it works best for the photographer to work one on one with the client. However if you are driving from out of town, feel free to have a girlfriend come with you. Friends may stay with you during your makeup session, but will need to stay in the lobby area during your photography session.
Q. I'm not at my goal weight, should I wait to get my photos done?
A. Absolutely not! It is not about size, it is about who you are and the confidence you bring with you. We highlight your best features and with proper wardrobe selection, you will be delighted with how great you look.
Q. How revealing do I need to be?
A. How much you want to reveal is completely up to you. We will discuss what you want prior to the day of the session so that the photographer will get just the right look for you.
Q. I'm nervous, I've never done anything like this before.
A. We find that once our clients meet our staff and have their hair and makeup done, they feel a lot more comfortable and confident. Our photographers are very personable and will work to make sure you feel comfortable during your session. Most clients feel nervous at first, but by the end of the session feel like a super model.
Q. What forms of payment do you accept?
A. We gladly accept cash, Visa, American Express, Discover, Mastercard, Paypal, and Check.
Q. How long after my shoot will my images be ready?
A. It typically takes 2-3 weeks for your images to be edited and ready for delivery.
**5 day rush service is available for those in a hurry for an additional fee of $150. Please let us know when scheduling if rush service is needed.
